People ask what makes Co-Lin Feed & Seed different from the big box stores, and the answer is always the same.
It's not on our shelves. It's not our prices. It's not even our 50-plus years in business, though we're proud of every single one of them.
It's our staff. It's our knowledge. It's our experience. What each person brings to the table is unmatched — you won't find that at a big box store.
When you walk into Co-Lin, you're not getting a teenager who was hired last Tuesday reading you a product label. You're getting someone who has farmed the field, fed the animals, fished the water, hunted the wildlife, and grown the garden same as you.
That's not something you get at a chain store. It's something we've never taken for granted.
As we build our online store and start to bring the Co-Lin experience to customers beyond Brookhaven, we wanted to take this opportunity to introduce you to the team. Even when you're shopping online from your phone at 10 o'clock at night, the people who packed your order, answered your question, and made sure you got exactly what you wanted — those are real people right here in Lincoln County, right here in our store.
This is not our full staff, we have several hard working appreciated staff members, these are your customer service representatives and owners:
Bob and Angie Jordan — Owners & The Heart of Co-Lin Feed & Seed
If Co-Lin Feed & Seed is a powerhouse — and it is — Bob and Angie are the reason why.
Bob and Angie have built something rare in this day and age: a business that has not only survived for over 50 years but has remained rooted in what it always was. A family store. A community store. A place where the staff knows your name, your land, your animals, and your season.
They didn't build that by accident. They built it by surrounding themselves with the right people, investing in this community, and never once losing sight of what Co-Lin is supposed to be. When Bob and Angie say the customer comes first, they don't mean it as a slogan. They mean it as a way of doing business. Honesty & fairness have been a priority, and always will be.
Everything we do online — every product we add, every blog post we write, every question we answer — runs through the standard Bob and Angie have set for over five decades. You'll feel that in every order you place.
Leighton Jordan — Hunting, Fishing & Co-Lin Branded Merchandise
Leighton is the son of Bob & Angie Jordan. He literally grew up in the store. In face he started working at Co-Lin Feed & Seed at a very early age. He was so small at the time that he needed a bucket to see over the counter.
If you've ever had a question about dove season, deer season, turkey season, what rod or bait to use for fishing, what to plant and when to plant it, beef cattle, or which Co-Lin hat to choose from — Leighton is your guy.
Leighton can help you with Garmin issues, questions about guns and ammunition, equipment questions or anything else. He isn't just working at the family store; he's living the lifestyle the store is built around. He hunts. He fishes. He knows the gear, the seasons, the regulations, and the strategies — not because he read about them, but because he's out there doing it & living it right alongside the customers who come through the doors, and equipment too.
Leighton also heads up our in-store branded merchandise — the Co-Lin hats, the logoed gear, the items that let you carry a little piece of Brookhaven wherever you go. As we expand that into our online Co-Lin Customs line, Leighton's fingerprints are going to be all over it.
If you've got a hunting or fishing question when you're shopping online, don't hesitate to reach out. He either knows the answer, or he'll get it.
Kailyn (KK) Montgomery — Digital Project Manager
KK is the daughter of Bob & Angie Jordan. SHe also grew up in the store and had a little business there, a Co-Lin Feed & Seed selling eggs, vegetables and even snow cones.
While the rest of us are focused on the products, the customers, and the day-to-day running of the store that's been open six days a week for over 50 years, KK is helping build the digital side of Co-Lin from the ground up. She is the on-location project manager for everything you see online — coordinating with our agency team, managing the product catalog, keeping the online store organized, and making sure the experience you have when you shop with us digitally matches the experience you'd have walking through our front door.
She's the one making sure your order is correct, the product information is accurate, and that as we add 10 to 15 products at a time to the store, every single one of them meets the Co-Lin standard before it goes live.
Susie Allgood — The Encyclopedia. The One You Call.
Susie has been with Co-Lin Feed & Seed for 30-plus years, and we are so fortunate to call her both a friend and a co-worker.
We have been trying to get Susie to write a book for years.
She won't do it. But we're working on convincing her to do the next best thing — her own blog series and YouTube channel that shares the kind of knowledge she carries around in her head every single day.
Susie isn't a farmer herself, but after many years in the industry, she can tell you what to do and how to do it just by looking at it. She knows what works, and more importantly, she knows how it works too. She knows what your animals actually need. Long before Co-Lin, she worked as a horse fitter, and it was there she learned how to "listen" to animals and give them what they're asking for. She knows the difference between a beginner's mistake and a pro tip that changes your whole season.
Whether you're putting in your first fall garden and have no idea where to start, or you're a third-generation farmer who wants to know the latest & greatest in mineral supplementation for your cattle — Susie has the answer. If by some miracle she doesn't, she will get it.

Neely Nations — Merchandising Lead & Catalog Manager
Every great store has someone working behind the scenes making sure the right products are in the right place at the right time. At Co-Lin, that's Neely.
Neely leads our merchandising and helps us manage the massive catalog of products we carry — and if you know anything about Co-Lin, you know that catalog is not small. She brings order to the selection, keeps our inventory organized, and as we build the online store she is playing a vital role in making sure our digital shelves are just as well-managed as our physical ones.
Neely is our "multi-tasker" and literally changes roles by the minute. She is a hunter herself and has vast knowledge of our hunting products and how and when to use them.
One of the things we love most about Neely is something she'll tell you herself: if she doesn't know something, she asks. She'll find the right answer from the right person rather than guess. In a store where product knowledge is everything, that kind of honesty is worth more than you might think.
Neely has been handling all phone orders, packing, and shipping. She will also be a vital part of our online store. When your Co-Lin online order goes out the door, it's going out from Brookhaven, Mississippi — packed by this team, with the same care they bring to every single thing they do in the store.
A Note on Co-Lin Customs — Our Design Partnership
One more thing worth knowing as we launch online.
Our Co-Lin Customs line — the branded hats, tees, hoodies, and one-of-a-kind designs you'll find in the online store — is a little different from everything else we sell.
Co-Lin Customs is a print-on-demand partnership with Taz Cable Agency, our digital agency based out of Friendsville, Tennessee. These items are designed around real Co-Lin moments, real Co-Lin sayings, and the kind of inside humor that only makes sense if you've spent time in this store or in this community.
They are made to order and shipped directly to your door — not from Brookhaven, but from our print partner's fulfillment network. So if you order a Co-Lin hat alongside a bag of dog food in the same order, you may receive them separately. That's normal and intentional, and we'll always make it clear at checkout.
Everything else — every physical product we carry in the store — ships from right here in Brookhaven, Mississippi. Packed by our team. Sent with the same care we'd give you if you were standing in the store.
